Electronic Cigarette Technical Description (by Dan Neumann)

The electronic cigarette is a cheaper, healthier, and available alternative to inhaling tobacco smoke. There are three primary components:

·         The cartridge that contains the water solution to boil.

·         The atomizer, which is a strip of magnesium, acting as the heating element.

·         The battery, being lithium-ionic, to conduct the atomizer.

This device vaporizes a water solution, containing nicotine, flavoring, and propylene glycol to impart the sensation of smoking, even though its water vapor. When electricity runs through the magnesium, the Photo-Electron Effect causes it to burn white-hot luminescent (just like a light bulb, but used for the heat instead of the brightness).

Each cartridge contains about a half to a full pack of cigarettes for only two dollars! Nicotine, propylene glycol, and flavoring aren’t carcinogenic (thus, won’t kill you like breathing burnt tobacco fumes might). Since people are literally blowing off steam, you can smoke an e-cig anywhere—at a hospital, in a movie theater, on a plane, etc. (If someone gives you a hard time, unscrew the battery from the atomizer and touch the center).

These cartridges don’t merely have every flavor you could ever want (that’s now banned as cigarettes), but also come in degrees of nicotine. You can start at sixteen milligrams (regular), and work your way down the four levels to zero milligrams of nicotine. E-cigs can be used to quit your nicotine habit after quitting smoking. (And it tastes so much better than the gum or patch). E-cigs are the future.

Nice post. I picked up a Blue electronic cigarette not to long ago and I love it. I will never smoke a tobacco cigarette again.
